Estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Luxor. Theben-Ufer by Max Rabes was auctioned at VAN HAM in November 2011. Here, the estimate of EUR 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,290.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Max Rabes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Storytime in October 2005 with an auction result of USD 66,000.00 (€ 55,022.93).
Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Luxor. Theben-Ufer von Max Rabes kam im November 2011 bei VAN HAM zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.290,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Max Rabes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Storytime im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 66.000,00 (€ 55.022,93).
