MAX BILL (1908-1994) 7 Twins the complete set comprising seven screenprints in colors, on Arches paper, 1977, each signed and dated in pencil, xxx/xxx (there was also an edition of 50 in Arabic numerals), published by Éditions Media, Neuchâtel, Switzerland, loose (as issued), with title, justification and text pages, each the full sheet, in very good condition, together with the original orange cloth covered portfolio case Overall: 17 x 23 7 ⁄ 8 x 7 ⁄ 8 in. The work 7 Twins by Max Bill was auctioned at Christies in New York in April this year. It achieved a price of USD 3,780.00 (€ 3,423.91), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Max Bill achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rote Strahlung (Irradiazione Rossa) in November 2018 with an auction result of EUR 321,000.00.

Die Arbeit 7 Twins von Max Bill kam im April diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 3.780,00 (€ 3.423,91) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Max Bill erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rote Strahlung (Irradiazione Rossa) im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 321.000,00.
