Auction result well in line with expectations
In December this year Artcurial held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Sans titre - 1941 by Max Bill. It changed hands for a price of EUR 5,904.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Max Bill achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rote Strahlung (Irradiazione Rossa) in November 2018 with an auction result of EUR 321,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans titre - 1941 von Max Bill zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 5.904,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Max Bill erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rote Strahlung (Irradiazione Rossa) im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 321.000,00.
