Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Untitled (Solarization), 1937 by Maurice Tabard was sold in the Collection Shalom Shpilman vendue au profit du Shpilman Institute for Photography auction at Christies in Paris in November 2015. The result of EUR 10,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Maurice Tabard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Punu Mask, Solarised Film, 1936 in May 2015 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 52,139.80).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Untitled (Solarization), 1937 von Maurice Tabard wurde im November 2015 in der Auktion Collection Shalom Shpilman vendue au profit du Shpilman Institute for Photography bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 10.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maurice Tabard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Punu Mask, Solarised Film, 1936 im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 52.139,80).
