Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Studio de Richard Avedon (Mode pour Balmain), c. 1950 by Maurice Tabard was sold in the Photographies auction at Christies in Paris in May last year. The price achieved of EUR 3,780.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maurice Tabard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Punu Mask, Solarised Film, 1936 in May 2015 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 52,139.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Studio de Richard Avedon (Mode pour Balmain), c. 1950 von Maurice Tabard wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Photographies bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.780,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maurice Tabard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Punu Mask, Solarised Film, 1936 im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 52.139,80).
