The work Selbstbildnis by Matts Leiderstam was sold in the The Arc of Photography: A Private East Coast Collection auction at Phillips in New York in October 2011. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,825.63), 35% above the upper estimate. With this result, Selbstbildnis is even the most expensive work of art by Matts Leiderstam that we have observed at auctions so far.
