Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Landscape with Travellers Resting by Matts Leiderstam for GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,944.79). This price was achieved in the auction The Valencia Collection at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Matts Leiderstam have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October 2011 by the work Selbstbildnis at USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,825.63).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Landscape with Travellers Resting von Matts Leiderstam für GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.944,79) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Valencia Collection bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Matts Leiderstam wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Oktober 2011 die Arbeit Selbstbildnis mit USD 8.125,00 (€ 5.825,63).
