The work "No difference at all" by Matts Leiderstam was sold in the Contemporary Art & Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in April 2021. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 17,000.00 (€ 1,671.74), 42% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Matts Leiderstam - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Selbstbildnis, which sold at auction in October 2011 for USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,825.63).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 42 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit "No difference at all" von Matts Leiderstam wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 17.000,00 (€ 1.671,74) und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Matts Leiderstam mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Selbstbildnis beobachtet, die im Oktober 2011 für USD 8.125,00 (€ 5.825,63) versteigert wurde.
