Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2011 Phillips in London held the auction The Valencia Collection, which included the work The Dream about Italy by Matts Leiderstam. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,417.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by Matts Leiderstam have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2011 the work Selbstbildnis was auctioned for USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,825.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2011 führte Phillips in London die Auktion The Valencia Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Dream about Italy von Matts Leiderstam zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.417,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Matts Leiderstam konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2011 die Arbeit Selbstbildnis für USD 8.125,00 (€ 5.825,63) versteigert.
