Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Matti Braun was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in July 2015. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 7,088.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Matti Braun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in February 2021 for GBP 20,160.00 (€ 23,250.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Matti Braun wurde im Juli 2015 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 7.088,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Matti Braun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Februar 2021 für GBP 20.160,00 (€ 23.250,77) versteigert wurde.
