Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Matthew Brannon could be acquired at Christies in New York in December 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, the work I'd rather not say changed hands for USD 1,375.00 (€ 1,200.24) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Matthew Brannon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Other People'S Money; People Who Divide People in February 2012 with an auction result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,940.26).
