Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Matthew Brannon could be acquired at Sothebys in London in September 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work I. How It All Ends Ii. Sick Whore changed hands for GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,737.19) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Matthew Brannon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Other People'S Money; People Who Divide People in February 2012 with an auction result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,940.26).
