Upper estimate price exceeded by 25 %.
The work Lungo Addio by Matteo Pugliese was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Milan in May 2009. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 16,250.00 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Matteo Pugliese achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Samurai in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 1,638,000.00 (€ 175,373.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Lungo Addio von Matteo Pugliese wurde im Mai 2009 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 16.250,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Matteo Pugliese erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Samurai im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.638.000,00 (€ 175.373,57).
