Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2018 Christies in Paris held the auction POST-WAR AND CONTEMPORARY ART Paris, Day Sale, which included the work Sans titre (lascaux 944/924 sur fond Unik 012- 1A) by Mathieu Mercier. It changed hands for a price of EUR 18,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Mathieu Mercier have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2018 the work Diamant was auctioned for EUR 25,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2018 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion POST-WAR AND CONTEMPORARY ART Paris, Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans titre (lascaux 944/924 sur fond Unik 012- 1A) von Mathieu Mercier zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 18.750,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Mathieu Mercier konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2018 die Arbeit Diamant für EUR 25.000,00 versteigert.
