Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2021 Sothebys in Paris held the auction NOW!, which included the work Drum and Bass Dr. Zimmerman by Mathieu Mercier. The price achieved of EUR 4,410.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mathieu Mercier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Diamant in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 25,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2021 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion NOW! durch, in der auch die Arbeit Drum and Bass Dr. Zimmerman von Mathieu Mercier zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.410,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mathieu Mercier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Diamant im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 25.000,00.
