Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Saint Ursula (B. 10; L. VIII 11) by Master MZ was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2003. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,075.50 (€ 1,405.75) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Master MZ achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Ball (The Palace Of Duke Albert Iv At Munich) in December 2015 with an auction result of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 28,856.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Saint Ursula (B. 10; L. VIII 11) von Master MZ kam im Juli 2003 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.075,50 (€ 1.405,75) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Master MZ erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Ball (The Palace Of Duke Albert Iv At Munich) im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 28.856,48).
