Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'Picnic Alternatif 1' by Massimo Vitali was auctioned at Bonhams in London in October this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 24,320.00 (€ 23,012.87) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Massimo Vitali have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rosignano in March 2008 with an auction result of USD 151,000.00 (€ 95,539.39).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 'Picnic Alternatif 1' von Massimo Vitali kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 24.320,00 (€ 23.012,87) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Massimo Vitali auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rosignano im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 151.000,00 (€ 95.539,39).
