Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April this year Phillips in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Bagni Lido (#1463) by Massimo Vitali. Here, the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 20,320.00 (€ 18,405.80). Admittedly, works by Massimo Vitali have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rosignano in March 2008 with an auction result of USD 151,000.00 (€ 95,539.39).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bagni Lido (#1463) von Massimo Vitali zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 20.320,00 (€ 18.405,80) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Massimo Vitali auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rosignano im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 151.000,00 (€ 95.539,39).
