Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Bonhams held the auction Prints and Multiples, which included the work La Collana II by Massimo Campigli. The price achieved of GBP 576.00 (€ 670.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Massimo Campigli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Grand Magasin Ou Le Marché, 1929 in October 2021 with an auction result of EUR 400,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Prints and Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Collana II von Massimo Campigli zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 576,00 (€ 670,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Massimo Campigli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Grand Magasin Ou Le Marché, 1929 im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 400.000,00.
