Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Conversazione by Massimo Campigli was auctioned at Bonhams in London in June this year. The price achieved of GBP 12,800.00 (€ 14,897.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Massimo Campigli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Grand Magasin Ou Le Marché, 1929 in October 2021 with an auction result of EUR 400,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Conversazione von Massimo Campigli kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.800,00 (€ 14.897,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Massimo Campigli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Grand Magasin Ou Le Marché, 1929 im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 400.000,00.
