The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,717.24) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Masahisa Fukase achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cape Erimo from Ravens in May 2016 with an auction result of GBP 93,750.00 (€ 122,333.86).

Die Arbeit Untitled, From The Solitude of Ravens, 1977 von Masahisa Fukase kam im Oktober 2012 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.717,24) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Masahisa Fukase erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cape Erimo from Ravens im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 93.750,00 (€ 122.333,86).
