Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Study for Cameo of Appearances (11158) by Martin Mull was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in New York in January 2011. The price achieved of USD 1,500.00 (€ 1,093.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Martin Mull achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hero'S Welcome in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 73,000.00 (€ 49,700.44).
