Admittedly, works by Martin Maloney have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled Portrait (Jerry) in February 2007 with an auction result of USD 20,400.00 (€ 15,419.50).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Relational Object Intercourse London 1971 von Martin Maloney kam im April 2013 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.770,09) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Martin Maloney auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled Portrait (Jerry) im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 20.400,00 (€ 15.419,50).
