Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2015 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Marisol Escobar for USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,550.46). This price was achieved in the auction Latin America at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marisol Escobar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Andy in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 794,500.00 (€ 642,591.39).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2015 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Marisol Escobar für USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.550,46) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin America bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marisol Escobar erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Andy im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 794.500,00 (€ 642.591,39).
