Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Marisa Merz was sold in the Eyes Wide Open: An Italian Vision auction at Christies in London in February 2014. The price achieved of GBP 146,500.00 (€ 177,739.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Other works by Marisa Merz have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2015 the work without title was auctioned for GBP 194,500.00 (€ 275,735.67).
