Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2014 Christies in London held the auction Eyes Wide Open: An Italian Vision, which included this untitled work by Marisa Merz. The price achieved of GBP 206,500.00 (€ 250,534.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Other works by Marisa Merz have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2015 the work without title was auctioned for GBP 194,500.00 (€ 275,735.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion Eyes Wide Open: An Italian Vision durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Marisa Merz zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 206.500,00 (€ 250.534,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Marisa Merz konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juli 2015 die Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 194.500,00 (€ 275.735,67) versteigert.
