In October 2019 Christies in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Miami Beach, Florida, 1939 by Marion Post Wolcott. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,964.59), 67% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marion Post Wolcott - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vegetable pickers, migrants, waiting after work to be paid, near Homestead, Florida, Feb 1939, which sold at auction in October 2021 for USD 21,420.00 (€ 18,542.24).

Im Oktober 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Miami Beach, Florida, 1939 von Marion Post Wolcott zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.964,59) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Marion Post Wolcott mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vegetable pickers, migrants, waiting after work to be paid, near Homestead, Florida, Feb 1939 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2021 für USD 21.420,00 (€ 18.542,24) versteigert wurde.
