Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Senza Titolo by Mario Nigro was sold in the Arte Moderna e Contemporanea auction at Sothebys in Milan in November 2012. It changed hands for a price of EUR 17,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 16,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mario Nigro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pannello A Scacchi Bianchi E Neri in April 2014 with an auction result of EUR 76,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Senza Titolo von Mario Nigro wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 17.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 16.000,00 – 18.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mario Nigro auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pannello A Scacchi Bianchi E Neri im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 76.800,00.
