Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Elementi astratti by Mario Nigro was sold in the Arte Moderna e Contemporanea auction at Il Ponte in December 2018. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mario Nigro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pannello A Scacchi Bianchi E Neri, which sold at auction in April 2014 for EUR 76,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Elementi astratti von Mario Nigro wurde im Dezember 2018 in der Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea bei Il Ponte versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 20.000,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Mario Nigro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pannello A Scacchi Bianchi E Neri beobachtet, die im April 2014 für EUR 76.800,00 versteigert wurde.
