Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Senza titolo by Mario Nigro was auctioned at Christies in Milan in November 2020. It achieved a price of EUR 23,750.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mario Nigro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pannello A Scacchi Bianchi E Neri, which sold at auction in April 2014 for EUR 76,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Senza titolo von Mario Nigro kam im November 2020 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 23.750,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Mario Nigro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pannello A Scacchi Bianchi E Neri beobachtet, die im April 2014 für EUR 76.800,00 versteigert wurde.
