The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,875.00 63% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marina Abramović achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Life in October 2020 with an auction result of GBP 287,500.00 (€ 319,244.23).

Im Juli 2020 führte Grisebach die Auktion Online Only 2020/2021 - Online Only 1 – 19.6.-5.7.20 durch, in der auch die Arbeit „re-energizing“. von Marina Abramović zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.875,00 und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marina Abramović erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Life im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 287.500,00 (€ 319.244,23).
