In March 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Bear Witness | #SothebysBearWitness, which included the work Carrying The Skeleton by Marina Abramović. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 50,000.00 (€ 69,127.64), 67% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Marina Abramović have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Life in October 2020 with an auction result of GBP 287,500.00 (€ 319,244.23).

Im März 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Bear Witness | #SothebysBearWitness durch, in der auch die Arbeit Carrying The Skeleton von Marina Abramović zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 69.127,64) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marina Abramović auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Life im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 287.500,00 (€ 319.244,23).
