A top price for Marijke van Warmerdam
In October 2011 Phillips in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Don't Walk, Walk by Marijke van Warmerdam. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,403.14), 35% above the upper estimate. With this result, Don't Walk, Walk is even the most expensive work of art by Marijke van Warmerdam that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2011 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Don't Walk, Walk von Marijke van Warmerdam zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.403,14) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Don't Walk, Walk sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Marijke van Warmerdam, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
