The »bidding war« ended at EUR 7,500.00 50% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Marijke van Warmerdam; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Don't Walk, Walk sold at auction in October 2011 with the realized price of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,403.14).
