Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait De Fillette by Marie-Louise-Catherine Breslau for USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,831.89). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale including Important Russian Paintings at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Marie-Louise-Catherine Breslau have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in April 2008 by the work La Toilette at GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,748.59).
