Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Swiss Enfants Assis by Marie-Louise-Catherine Breslau was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2009. The price achieved of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,198.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marie-Louise-Catherine Breslau - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Toilette, which sold at auction in April 2008 for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,748.59).

Die Arbeit Swiss Enfants Assis von Marie-Louise-Catherine Breslau kam im November 2009 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.198,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Marie-Louise-Catherine Breslau mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Toilette beobachtet, die im April 2008 für GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.748,59) versteigert wurde.
