Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Pareja by Mariano Rodríguez. It changed hands for a price of USD 37,500.00 (€ 33,118.43) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mariano Rodríguez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pelea de gallos in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 1,087,500.00 (€ 1,028,077.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2018 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pareja von Mariano Rodríguez zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 33.118,43) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mariano Rodríguez erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pelea de gallos im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.087.500,00 (€ 1.028.077,14).
