Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Sem título by Mariana Palma. The price achieved of USD 16,380.00 (€ 13,948.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mariana Palma achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 233,000.00 (€ 187,329.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sem título von Mariana Palma zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 16.380,00 (€ 13.948,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mariana Palma erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 233.000,00 (€ 187.329,15).
