Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Online | New York, which included the work Sem Título by Mariana Palma. The price achieved of USD 25,000.00 (€ 22,667.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mariana Palma have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 233,000.00 (€ 187,329.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Online | New York durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sem Título von Mariana Palma zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 22.667,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mariana Palma auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 233.000,00 (€ 187.329,15).
