In November 2019 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included this untitled work by Mariana Palma. The result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 27,225.70) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mariana Palma have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 233,000.00 (€ 187,329.15).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im November 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mariana Palma zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 27.225,70) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mariana Palma auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 233.000,00 (€ 187.329,15).
