The work Birthday by Maria Farrar was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale auction at Phillips in Hong Kong in June last year. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 403,200.00 (€ 49,066.46), 44% above the upper estimate. Other works by Maria Farrar have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 87,500.00 (€ 97,161.29) in October 2020 for the work Wave.

Die Arbeit Birthday von Maria Farrar wurde im Juni letzten Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale bei Phillips in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 403.200,00 (€ 49.066,46) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Maria Farrar haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 87.500,00 (€ 97.161,29) im Oktober 2020 für die Arbeit Wave beobachtet.
