Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled #11 by Margherita Manzelli was sold in the 20th C. & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session auction at Phillips in New York in November 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,940.83) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Margherita Manzelli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Verifica del funzionamento - spazio vuoto in October 2009 with an auction result of GBP 151,250.00 (€ 168,922.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled #11 von Margherita Manzelli wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion 20th C. & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.940,83) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Margherita Manzelli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Verifica del funzionamento - spazio vuoto im Oktober 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 151.250,00 (€ 168.922,31).
