This artwork by Margaret Lovell achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in March 2016. In the Made in Britain auction, the work Marina Form sold for GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,420.42) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 600.00. Admittedly, works by Margaret Lovell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Barquentine Iii in March 2016 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,258.62).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Margaret Lovell erzielte im März 2016 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Made in Britain wurde die Arbeit Marina Form für GBP 1.125,00 (€ 1.420,42) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 600,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Margaret Lovell auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Barquentine Iii im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 10.258,62).
