Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Opus III by Margaret Lovell was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in July this year. The price achieved of GBP 896.00 (€ 1,045.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. Admittedly, works by Margaret Lovell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Barquentine Iii in March 2016 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,258.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Opus III von Margaret Lovell kam im Juli diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 896,00 (€ 1.045,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Margaret Lovell auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Barquentine Iii im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 10.258,62).
