Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Oblique Form by Margaret Lovell was sold in the Blazing a TrailModern British Women auction at Bonhams in London in September this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,792.00 (€ 1,792.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Margaret Lovell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Barquentine Iii in March 2016 with an auction result of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,258.62).
