The work Leaf by Margaret Lovell was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Christies in London in October 2013. The result of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,727.97) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Margaret Lovell - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Barquentine Iii, which sold at auction in March 2016 for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 10,258.62).

Die Arbeit Leaf von Margaret Lovell wurde im Oktober 2013 in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.727,97) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Margaret Lovell mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Barquentine Iii beobachtet, die im März 2016 für GBP 8.125,00 (€ 10.258,62) versteigert wurde.
