Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Deep by Marcus Brutus was sold in the Prints & Multiples auction at Sothebys in London in March last year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,134.00 (€ 1,344.48). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marcus Brutus achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pannonica in October 2021 with an auction result of HKD 302,400.00 (€ 33,637.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Deep von Marcus Brutus wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion Prints & Multiples bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.134,00 (€ 1.344,48) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marcus Brutus erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pannonica im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 302.400,00 (€ 33.637,81).
