Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Uhmericans by Marcus Brutus was auctioned at Christies in New York in July last year. The price achieved of USD 1,008.00 (€ 988.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marcus Brutus achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pannonica in October 2021 with an auction result of HKD 302,400.00 (€ 33,637.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Uhmericans von Marcus Brutus kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.008,00 (€ 988,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marcus Brutus erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pannonica im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 302.400,00 (€ 33.637,81).
