Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Enclosure by Marcelo Bonevardi was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2012. The price achieved of USD 11,875.00 (€ 9,127.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marcelo Bonevardi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blue Habitat in June 2007 with an auction result of USD 62,400.00 (€ 46,153.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Enclosure von Marcelo Bonevardi wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 9.127,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marcelo Bonevardi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blue Habitat im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.400,00 (€ 46.153,85).
