Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Eden Blu by Marcello Lo Giudice was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in December 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 10,080.00 (€ 11,260.26) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marcello Lo Giudice achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Orange - Yellow Sun in June 2019 with an auction result of EUR 150,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Eden Blu von Marcello Lo Giudice wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 10.080,00 (€ 11.260,26) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marcello Lo Giudice erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Orange - Yellow Sun im Juni 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 150.000,00.
